Dov Bechhofer – Role and Responsibility of a Radiologist
Dov Bechhofer further added that radiology that is used to diagnose the problem of a patient, by using a range of imaging techniques is known as diagnostic radiology and the radiology which is concerned with image-guided surgeries in order to treat the variety of conditions related to joint, tendons and much more is known as intervention radiology.
Dov Bechhofer further says that as a clinical radiologist, a person has to use images in order to diagnose a variety of medical conditions and diseases. He has to select a suitable radiology technique for doing patient diagnosis. Dov Bechhofer further added that a person has to evaluate and support patients throughout their diagnostic procedures. While doing the job of a radiologist, Dov Bechhofer further reveals that a person has to manage the health and safety of the patients by minimizing the radiation exposure.
Being a Radiologist, Dov Bechhofer says that radiologists are basically the medically qualified doctors, who are specialized in doing the investigation and diagnosis of a several clinical conditions and diseases with the help of the variety of imaging techniques like Computed tomography (CT) scans, Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), Ultrasound and X-rays.
