Dov Bechhofer - Description about Virtual Reality

Dov Bechhofer has defined Virtual Reality (VR) as an interactive computer-generated experience that is taking place in a simulated environment. It incorporates mainly auditory and visual feedback.  Dov Bechhofer further says that that the environment created by virtual reality is similar to the real world. Dov Bechhofer says that augmented reality systems can also be considered as a form of Virtual Reality environment that provides virtual information over a live camera feed into a headset and give the user an ability to view three-dimensional images.

Currently, VR technology uses a virtual reality headset and a multi-projected environment and sometimes both things can be combined together with physical environments in order to generate realistic images, sounds and other sensations that simulate a user's physical presence in a virtual or imaginary environment says Dov Bechhofer. A person who is working with virtual reality equipment is able to look around the artificial world and interact with the virtual features. Dov Bechhofer suggested that this effect is commonly created by a VR headset that consist of a head-mounted display with a small screen in front of the eyes and it can also be created through specially designed rooms with multiple large screens.
