Dov Bechhofer – History of Drones
Dov Bechhofer is an experienced computer engineer who discusses the history of drones and their involvement from a science fiction fantasy to a practical machine that are used around the world today that is for doing residential deliveries to a modern warfare. As a computer engineer, Dov Bechhofer has seen several changes in the enhancements of computerized machinery in our lives. He further says that it’s not surprising that the rise of drones in military tactics encouraged practical use in other fields as well as consumer products. He further says that military drones were put to use decades ago as unmanned weaponry because it meant there were no casualties on the handler’s side in the event of an attack. At first, they were used for surveillance, but were later weaponized and used as remote.
Dov Bechhofer says that going by the technical term ‘drone’ usage has been emerged in the 19th century. Through technological advancements in the early 2000s, drones made a more casual appearance back at home. Firefighters and surveying teams used the newly-accessible technology to achieve those things that humans were unable to accomplish without taking any extreme risk. He further says that Drones are already playing a major role in various countries by helping the crew in several activities which includes agricultural projects and construction sites. He believes that this will take drones out of the negative light of war.
